TUBA PROJECT
founded in 2005 with long time musical collaborator Alex Harding TUBA PROJECT is a unique ensemble built around the sound of the great tuba player Bob Stewart. Benefiting immensely from the extraordinaire talent of Mr. Stewart who can play the tuba in any way possible the group also feature the great Bruce Williams’s on alto sax & flutes, and the master drummer Derrek Phillips. A common project/group with my friend and soprano sax master Sam Newsome dealing with the folk music of my home country.
